Many people believe the goverment should spend more money on public transport. Others argue that this money should be spend on new roads instead.
- Spelling government. Twice in this paragraph.
- Grammar 5 to 6 "should be spend" needs the past participle: spent.
- Lexis 5 to 6 "spend money on" twice in three lines. Try allocate funding to, invest in.

What each band opens
Typical published entry requirements. Every institution sets its own, and student visa floors sit lower than university ones. Confirm both on the official pages before you plan around a number.

Do you guarantee a band?
No, and no honest provider can. Your band is decided by an examiner on the day, against published descriptors. What we will do is tell you after the diagnostic whether your target is realistic in ten weeks, and say so plainly when it is not.
Is the paper test really gone?
In Bangladesh, yes. Standard paper-based IELTS was discontinued on 1 February 2026 and IELTS for UKVI moved fully to computer in July 2026. If your preparation still involves handwriting essays on lined paper, it is preparing you for a test that no longer exists here.
What is One Skill Retake, and should I use it?
It lets you re-sit a single paper rather than all four, currently ৳18,600 against ৳31,100 for a full sitting. It is the right move when three papers sit comfortably above your target and one sits half a band below. It is the wrong move when two or more fall short, because you would spend the money and still miss the requirement.
How long does half a band actually take?
For listening and reading, often four to six weeks, because those are scored on right answers and respond quickly to technique. For writing and speaking, usually longer, since they are judged on range and accuracy and those move slowly. This is why the diagnostic comes first. The honest answer depends entirely on which paper is short.
Dhaka or online: is there a difference?
The marking, the materials and the dry-runs are identical. Speaking practice runs live either way. Choose in-person if you want the room to hold you to the schedule, online if your commute would cost you the study hours.
I have already sat it and missed. Is that different?
Usually it is easier. You arrive holding a real Test Report Form, which is a far better diagnostic than any mock we could run. It tells us exactly which paper to attack and by how much. Bring it with you.
